Welcome to HypnoCube.com featuring the HypnoCube and HypnoSquare, collaboration projects by Chris Lomont and Gene Foulk.

HypnoSquare 8×8

The HypnoSquare is the 2D version of the HypnoCube (it uses the same circuit and has the same number of pixels.) It might not be as exotic as the Cube, but a surprising number of people say they like it even better than the Cube.  Check out the products page for more information.

HypnoCube 4x4x4

The HypnoCube is a visual piece, and it’s much easier to show than to describe; check out the video below to see one in operation, and the videos page for more videos. There’s also a cube features page and kit building instructions page.

Google sometimes plays this video back too fast. If the seconds counter is going too
fast then the cube looks jerky. In this case stop and restart until the counter moves correctly. The animations should move smoothly.

It’s hard to capture the cube on screen, and the reactions from people seeing it in person have been overwhelmingly positive. Here’s a couple quotes we got that we just couldn’t pass up (posted and cited w/ permission.)
